Co-founder and CEO of Aisthesis Medical

Ioannis Dkouzionis was born and raised in the city of Thessaloniki, Greece. He received his MEng and MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Technical University of Crete in 2017 and 2019, respectively. Ioannis is currently completing his Ph.D. in Clinical Medicine Research at the Hamlyn Centre for Robotic Surgery and the Department of Surgery and Cancer at Imperial College London. Through Artificial Intelligence, Ioannis has developed a surgical imaging system to guide surgeons with the complete tumour resection during cancer surgery. In addition, Ioannis is the co-founder and CEO of Aisthesis Medical, a medical technology startup aiming at revolutionising the field of perioperative care. Specifically, Aisthesis Medical develops an intelligent clinical decision-support system for anesthetists that predicts complications during surgery.
